Project Overview:

This two-year construction project involved the reconstruction of Fermor Avenue (the City of Winnipeg’s portion of the Trans-Canada Highway) to convert a former undivided roadway to a fully divided rural cross-section, along with intersection improvements at Lagimodiere Boulevard, and added auxiliary lanes to accommodate proposed future development to the south.

Through this project Bayview facilitated the progression of the City of Winnipeg’s specifications through new aggregate gradation and material property requirements, which have ultimately become part of the current City of Winnipeg aggregate specifications.
